In this seminar, Alan Zhuang, CEO and Founder of Pear Limited, will share with us his startup stories and challenges that he overcomes on his journey. He will also shed lights on his experience building a team, managing relationship with investors, fostering a positive company culture and business value, as well as implementing strategies which transform the company.
Pear Limited focuses on the next generation Fog Computing Technology that enables billions of smart devices to easily share computing, storage, and bandwidth resources. This technology is considered as cloud computing at ground level and is thought to be the solution to solving the exponential growth in the demand for bandwidth resources.
Alan Zhuang is an alumnus of HKUST who studied in the MPhil Technology Leadership and Entrepreneurship (TLE) program. Back in 2013, Alan worked as an engineer at Tencent, where he got inspired and come up with the idea of Fog Computing. Alan started Pear Limited in 2016 and the company has grown rapidly with major clients including Tencent, VNet, Lenovo, and Huawei. In 2018. Alan has been elected to be one of the elites on the Forbes China 30 Under 30 List 2018 and also the Fortune China 40 Under 40 List 2018.
